Senior Citizens Care Unit Program (UPWE) provides transport facilities and services to the elderly who live alone or with families who cannot afford to get medical attention at the hospital or clinic.
Senior Citizens Care Unit objectives are:
1. To provide transportation to seniors citizens to get a medical treatment in a hospital or clinic, or other necessary services.
2. Reduce the burden of transport expenses to the elderly.
3. Improving the accessibility of senior citizens to public facilities, particularly medical services in a clinic or hospital.
4. Provide facilities for the elderly who have physical problems and mental disabilities that limit their movement to get treatment and other services necessary for their welfare.
